BODMAS tells us the order in which operations are performed in a mathematical expression.

BODMAS என்பது ஒரு கணிதக் கணக்கில் செயல்பாடுகளை எந்த வரிசையில் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதைக் காட்டும் விதியாகும்.

B – Brackets / அடைப்புக்குறிகள்: ( ), [ ], { } — solve the innermost bracket first. / முதலில் உள்புற அடைப்புக்குறியைக் கணக்கிடுக.

O – Orders / அடுக்குகள்: powers and roots, such as 3² or √16. / அடுக்குகள் மற்றும் வர்க்கமூலங்கள்.

D and M – Division and Multiplication / வகுத்தல் மற்றும் பெருக்கல்: equal priority; work from left to right. / சம முன்னுரிமை; இடமிருந்து வலமாகச் செய்யவும்.

A and S – Addition and Subtraction / கூட்டல் மற்றும் கழித்தல்: equal priority; work from left to right. / சம முன்னுரிமை; இடமிருந்து வலமாகச் செய்யவும்.

Example / எடுத்துக்காட்டு: 18 + 6 × 4 = 18 + 24 = 42

Important: Multiplication is not automatically before division; addition is not automatically after subtraction. Equal-priority operations are evaluated left to right. / பெருக்கல் எப்போதும் வகுத்தலுக்கு முன் அல்ல; சம முன்னுரிமைச் செயல்பாடுகளை இடமிருந்து வலமாகச் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
